Super result and a fantastic follow up to a good 3 points at the weekend against fc. The advantage of a big squad and adding to it when playesr injured etc has shone through during recent games.

Brilliant first half performance tonight - the pace, movement and passing were tremendous. I haven't seen a better performance in a long time, the third and fourth goals in particular were fabulously constructed. With two quick forwards, two quick wingers and solid tacklers in central midfield Burscough couldn't live with Guiseley in the first half and were comprehensively outplayed. Unsurprisingly, the game went a little flat in the second half although several more goals might have been added with better finishing. Hard to pick out anyone from such a good performance, but Askham looked very good.
Our last two performances have been excellent - positive signs I hope.

"Sublime" sums up the first half performance perfectly cdp.
That is without doubt the best 45 minutes of football I have ever seen from a Guiseley team.
The Burscough players were absolutely shell shocked after 20 minutes and had no answer to the superb passing, clever movement and lightning pace shown by Guiseley.
Man of the match? Difficult after a terrific team performance but I would give the nod to Tucky, top class up front.

Fantastic performance last night, and what a signing Lee Askham is. Burscough had no idea had to cope with us.
Not sure if this season's team is better than last season's, but overall the squad is much better. Especially when you think about the players who are still out.
Any chance of getting Reeves permanently?

Speaking of the two missing individuals ie Messrs Muller and Walshaw; In all the excitement of recent games I've just about lost track of the length of time they've been away, but it seems like ages since we lost them and the team should just about be fully staffed when they get back...When are they scheduled to return?...

I seem to remember 6 games being quoted for Wally which would have ended with the Burscough game but I am not certain. Early to mid October for Adam? Aidey will be more up to date I am sure.
