I wanted to start a thread and also I'm quite excited about the game at the weekend. Good weather forecast and a genuine shot at progress in the Cup.
Plus it sounds like we've been playing well in our away games so I want to see it with my own eyes.
Only question is, with so many midfielders and strikers around, how do you pick a team?

Assuming Fitzgerald is still unavailable, Holland injured, Briggs fit and Reeves unavailable I would go with 4-4-2 comprising Worsnop, Lloyd, Ellis, Cotterill, Merris, Askham, Needham, Briggs, Singh, Tuck and Burton

Jezza is back for the weekend so I would make him left back and captain and move mezza into briggs' position.

Merris has really impressed me with his effort and teamwork ... hope he doesn't get crowded out of the midfield picture. Haven't seen Askham or Singh play yet so am looking forward to being impressed!

I think it will be a stern test for us. I agree. I'm looking forward to seeing Singh in particular.

If my symptoms don't improve overnight I'm going to assume I have swine flu and collect the Tamiflu I just got authorised from the stupid website. So unless it's just another new school new term cold, I'll be missing this game now anyway.

Just been down to Nethermoor to sort out a small electrical problem. Lovely sunny day but a bit blustery across the ground - the pitch looks GREAT. The "Wednesday crew" have done us proud again!
Come on you Whites - just remember to keep it on the *&@#%$!! deck!!
See you all at 3 o'clock.
