As we seem to be debating everything else under the sun, I thought I'd remind people we've got a game on tomorrow.
How does everyone think we'll do? What should our opening eleven be? Who should be on the bench? What formation/tactics should we employ? What are we going to do when everybody is fit and available? When is James Hanson's tribunal? Are we due another 'management update'? Why do we tend to play better away from home? Has the fans/officials meeting idea been abandoned? Are there any other plans to celebrate the centenary? Who burned down our stand? Why does it always rain on Tuesdays? Should nik be allowed anywhere near hot food?
If you have answers to these or any other questions, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

Always happy to have a go at a questionnaire, so here we go:How does everyone think we'll do? a) I think we'll probably tonk 'em... What should our opening eleven be?Spider: Lloyd, Ellis, Cotterill, Fitzgerald: Burton, Needham, Merris: Tuck, Walshaw, Reeves...(Apologies to anyone I've missed out)... Who should be on the bench?Holland, Askham, Davey, Ratchford, Muller. What formation/tactics should we employ?Defend as a team, attack as a team, and know you're as good as anyone in this league... What are we going to do when everybody is fit and available? Wish we'd had a tenner on us when things weren't looking all that good... When is James Hanson's tribunal? Does anyone at either club have a clue? Are we due another 'management update'?I'd say so, wouldn't you? And couldn't we organize something like this on a regular basis for the fans? Why do we tend to play better away from home?Because teams have to open up a bit and come at us 'cos they're at home... Has the fans/officials meeting idea been abandoned? No idea, but I'd really like to think it hasn't... Are there any other plans to celebrate the centenary? Can't think of a better way than simply winning the NPL! Who burned down our stand?Ted Perry, and I've got the proof! Why does it always rain on Tuesdays?Because we, the British people - The people who won two World Wars, one World Cup and the Eurovision Song Contest (before it was a Euro Fiddle) - are forced to operate under the Standard Euro Weather Diktat Thingy which states that our part of the country has to have rain on at least three Tuesdays in the month...This is an outrage! I say British Weather for British People, and not this silly Euro Drizzle that we're forced to put up with now!...(Cue strains of 'Land of Hope and Glory' and anything else by Elgar or Dire Straits)... Should nik be allowed anywhere near hot food?Should Nik even be allowed out without a pastry chaperone? ............................

I deeply resent that you all know who I am and I have no idea who you are. I'll be coming straight from work tomorrow so if you see a disoriented fan in a pinstripe suit, tap me on the shoulder and lend me some pie money.

We need to start with Burts if he's at all fit.
That means we probably need Tucky too because his work rate is so high.
I'm undecided between 4-3-3/4-5-1 and 4-4-2. I like the width but worry about us getting overrun in midfield.

Nik, you're not gonna wear your "lucky" grey cords then? I'll have my lucky "Volvo-for life" baseball hat on!

In honesty I'll be changing before coming. I've already put on my grey cords as we need extra luck this week. Must remember to pack my Guiseley scarf in my work bag!

I need to clam up then, or sooner or later I'll say something I really regret .... something worse than mushy peas on nerdy cords.

Yeadoner does seem to be logging my details in case of future usefulness in an extortion scenario.

Got to say that Yeadoner is a man after my own heart as far as Guiseley and Dire Straits are concerned-both No 1.Two of my best days out have been at Sheffield.Guiseley winning the FA Vase and seeing Dire Straits at Sheffield Arena about 20 years ago.
