BTW Pris, it's "Gas Safe Register" now - CORGI lost the gig last year, and sparkies and plumbers generally hate each other Electricity and water don't mix. I should have known about CORGI because my brother is a plumber. Then again he probably doesn't know either-Cowboy

"We would shop at Marks and Spencer La la la la Lech Walesa".
Nothing more need be said. ;D

Wow mog - another HMHB afficiado! That's from "Reflections in a flat" isn't it? It also mentions David Nixon (70's version of Paul Daniels) and he was my hero when I was really little. (many, many years ago now) ;D We could form a Nethermoor branch of the HMHB fanclub. Have you seen this site? Maybe we need to introduce some of the "youngsters" like nik and adam to HMHB? We need to get Bruce/Ady to play some over the tannoy pre-match.

Obvious choices being: "I was a teenage armchair Honved fan" and "All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit".
I remember David Nixon's magic shows too, in grainy B&W. Preceded Fred Dineage's Gambit on a Friday, I think.

Please don't lump me in with him. There's more than a decade between us. LOL Sorry nik, but anyone who wasn't born by my "O" level year is a "youngster". Ergo, anyone born post "Chuck and Di's" wedding is a youngster. If you're still scratching your head (ouch, splinters!) then that's 1981.

I had finished by school education & was "earning a crust" by the time Charlie boy went down on one knee.
And I think of myself as one of the younger GAFC supporters ;D

Didn't HMHB do something on 'sealclubbing'? I'm sure i had an LP kicking around somewhere. I'll have to get up in the attic. Apparently they're playing at Sheffield Boardwalk at beginning of December.
