Don't get too excited; it seems the official line is that most of the above was 'overachievement'.

Don't get too excited; it seems the official line is that most of the above was 'overachievement'. Obviously seen the tweets today from our chairman? Really suprised by them to be honest, 10 years of steady progress and remarkable last day survival heroics dissed in a series of tweets, also spending the bare minimum on the ground sounds like having a go at our major shareholder the comment about relying on outside investment, doesn't every club rely on outside investment?, from the Prem and EFL from sky and BT right down to the semi-pro teams with sponsorship and rich investors

Just read the recent tweet by our chairman. Have to say I think this kind of statement is not helpful and does a great disservice to all the loyal fans who follow the club home and away, week in and week out, win or lose. To suggest Guiseley has over reached itself for the last three years seeks to diminish everything the club has achieved over the years through the sterling work of the volunteers, the staff and the players. Not to mention the considerable investment of our shareholders and directors. Not at all impressed Mr Chairman.

For those of us who don't do social media, what has the Chairman actually said?
