I was at Barrow v carlisle yesterday evening and I was informed Lee molynuex was a trialist for us. Any good? Quality A tricky winger good shot on him, go for it we don’t want him as too expensive. Well, a small part of that sentence is true... Edit: Actually, scrap that, I'm not even sure he'd be that expensive as he was a Locky signing, not a Paul Cox signing!

He’ll be a handy addition for the first 60 minutes of their season.

Adambrid'll doubtless report James Wesolowski's latest move on the Where Are They Now? bit of the Forum, but might I suggest we give James his own thread entitled Where Was He Then?

Unfortunatly Danny has suffered another injury setback, he looked promising in the 45 mins he played at Hemsworth, but injured in training since, no luck going his way.

Well at least Danny gets injured playing, didn't James get injured on the bus if memory serves? If not, my apologies.

Apparently Lee Molyneux has now signed for Barrow.

Lucky Barrow, hope they get more out of him than we did.

Poor Barrow... for me personally, Molyneux was the biggest disappointment of all the signings made last season. When he arrived having been 'player of the season' at L2 Morecambe, I expected, at the very least, him to show consistently good levels of effort. Apart from one sensational free kick, he was bloody awful, and never looked remotely interested about playing for the club, and I'm glad to see the back of him. The fact that he struggled to get into the Chorley side when out on loan, and that his sending off in the play off final was described by 2 Chorley fans as 'the only notable thing he's done in a Chorley shirt' sums it up for me. They've also gone and signed Raul Correia! Surely to christ he can't be starting week in week out for them. Nice enough lad, but the words 'cows arse' and 'banjo' spring to mind. Or to slightly edit a quote from Mike Bassett: England Manager - "That Raul Correia, couldn't hit the side of a Renault Espace" 4 of last season's Lions at Barrow now, 1 superb player in Connor Brown, 1 decent player in John Rooney and then Molyneux and Correia. It'll be interesting to see how they do in the VNL next season.

Chib Chilaka is another wo played for us and has now played for just about every club in Yorkshire. Big fanfare on arrival then slips into obscurity before the end of September.

Though as Chib only played half a game for us - in an away pre-season friendly eight years ago - he must certainly have made an impression. Perhaps he's hanging on in and waiting for the advent of summer football!
