How's about tickets for 5 or 10 games? There are scanners in each turnstile I so perhaps we could active these to scan each card?

Great move by the club, my only concern would be if the reports of £13 matchday tickets are correct. Although we'll hopefully get a lot more season ticket holders, are we going to miss out on the occasional fans or the Leeds and Bradford fans that might consider heading down when their respective team is away from home? Andrew I think there have been a couple of contacts on Twitter from fans of local league clubs asking if a deal could be put in place. Makes sense to me - say any Leeds, Bradford or Huddersfield season ticket holders are treated as concessions? This is done elsewhere - Marine allow Everton, Liverpool, Tranmere, even AFC Liverpool season ticket holders to get concessions (admittedly £5) Personally I think £13 and £9 are a bit steep but I do like that the club are thinking differently including sensibly priced preseason friendlies

If were were to offer reduced rates to other clubs season tickets holders on a regular basis we could alienate our own fans who for whatever reason dont have a season ticket, we need to be careful. £13 pay on the gate is a pretty average price for this league.

Great news from the club think they have got the pricing for season tickets spot on.Thirteen pounds on the gate seems ok pretty fair for everyone wanting to come and watch Guiseley. Brave move from the club let’s hope people take advantage of this great season ticket deal and fill nethermoor. Onwards and upwards.

AB - are you able to confirm whether the preseason games are included in the Season Ticket. I can’t remember having to ever pay for preseason games previously but am told that is the case this year

Mr P. I am sure that the friendlies are not included in the season ticket this season. All pay on the day with the exception of the Leeds game which is all ticket.

If that is the case the saving on the season concession ticket will be nil and greatly reduced for Adults. That will teach us to read the small print.

So,the people that have ordered season tickets who normally collect them from the turnstile at first home friendly will do this and then be expected to a)pay to get in to game,or b) collect ticket, say no thanks and b..... off home. Really Guiseley!! when supporters are expected to be 12th man. A very quick re-think on this.

Season ticket holders will however get into all friendlies for half price with the prices and ticketing information to be confirmed. AB

If it’s true that we have to pay to attend preseason friendlies as season ticket holders then I think it’s a pretty mean move by the club.
In particular for senior season ticket holders, with a reduction this year of only £40. It would mean that attending the home preseason friendlies virtually wipes out any so called “saving” made.
Not impressed GAFC .

It's very disappointing, less from the financial view (I'm sure all fans appreciate the need for belt-tightening, if not necessarily the difference in notch-numbers between the various age-groups) but by the fact that in none of the ubiquitous publicity about the new STs was it felt advisable to mention the removal (or the half-removal, as it seems to have become) of the pre-season games from the package.
In all truth it's probably a reasonable move - early PSFs against League club 'selects' tend to bear more resemblance to Walking Football than Cup ties - but keeping it under wraps until money has changed hands is more redolent of last season's 'marketing units' strategy than what we hope will be the 'glasnost' of the new regime. The fans are not the enemy!

I strongly urge the club to rethink this decision.
Not making these changes clear from the outset can only leave loyal supporters feeling duped, conned and/or cheated and about as far removed from the marketing campaigns aim of unity and togetherness as it's possible to get!

Lioncub, the reduction for seniors is only £30 on last season. As in previous years we will be away for at least 6 weeks of the football season, and this we considered when deciding after the debacle of last year whether or not we really wanted the club to have our money upfront. Of course we decided to go ahead and sent our cheque and application the first day it was available because this is our football club and we are its supporters, but then to find out that pre season friendlies are not included leaves a bit of a sour taste. Not a good way to wipe the slate clean and go again.

Can I suggest the club cancel all season tickets, and relaunch them at £190 but with free pre season games. That way, they can make an extra £20 on the side.
As it is it'll be £150 for 21 league games, and just £20 for 4 pre season friendlies for an ST holder.
It's not as if the season ticket prices were reduced by nearly £100 or anything. Also, a season ticket holder also get free entry into any Guiseley Vixens matches too? So for £150 you get 21 mens games in the National North, plus 11 Guiseley Vixens matches, works out at £4.68 per match.
It's very rare across the football league/national league, that a club includes pre season friendlies into their season ticket price, so to offer half price entry is still significantly better than numerous other clubs.
