Which of those points do you strongly disagree with and why bearing in mind the absolute pig's ear that was made by people making decisions that affected everything last season?

Generally I disagree with the sentiment that we’ve been led up the garden path by the club, so I think your comments below are unjustified: “But honestly for the powers that be to have created this sort of hoo ha before season has even begun does not auger well. Someone needs to come out from behind the barricades, hold their hands up and apologise” I personally feel it’s a non issue, a mountain out of a molehill, however, I do agree that we should move purposefully forward, Read more: gafcforum.proboards.com/thread/7286/season-tickets?page=5#ixzz5J5NnwAFy

Final word I promise. Nowhere have I indicated nor do I feel, that it has been a deliberate ploy by the club to be divisive. But I do strongly feel that someone from the club should take the fallout on board. Yes you're right they don't owe us, the fans any explanation as to the workings of the decisions they make, but without us there is no club. The End.

I think that unfortunately it was not initially properly thought through, the onus was on a reduction in full adult season ticket prices, rightly so we are in a lower league, and there has to be some compensation for the dross served up last season. And most seniors and others that I know of have happily sent off their application. But honestly for the powers that be to have created this sort of hoo ha before season has even begun does not auger well. Someone needs to come out from behind the barricades, hold their hands up and apologise then we can move purposefully on. With all due respect, In the words of John McEnroe surely, you cannot be serious? Totally serious. Bare in mind the number of people that post here will be a tiny percentage of those this will effect. How many will turn up to the BCAFC game only to be told by one of the poor volunteers on the turnstiles. I feel for them having to explain this nonsense.

I wish I’d never asked AB! There are lots of valid points on both sides Personally it would seem the concessions ticket hasn’t been thought through for me - it should have been reduced in line (ie same % as the full price) and why increase the age. I’m guessing by my retirement it will be 70! After the misery of last season, the clubs decision to reduce prices was applauded and rightly so. And to offer preseason matches at reduced rates again a decision to be applauded - it’s been embarrassing to charge £15 for a friendly and has been reflected in the attendances vs Huddersfield and Barnsley to name a couple. However Steve is right, some of us would have turned up oblivious to the first game and said “what do you mean I’ve got to pay, never have before” so it does need to be communicated And whilst I get what Chris and others are saying re it’s only £20 for the preseasons, that’s not how it worked before and again whilst it wouldn’t have changed our decisions to buy a season ticket why the change and why not more public before now? For me personally, the money I’ve saved this season will invariably be spent at the club - I’ll buy a programme (Please tell me it won’t be £3), I’ll buy a pie, I’ll buy from the club shop - I like the Macron stuff (but not the £8 delivery fee and when will we see the away strip) and they’ll be a new scarf. Moan over PS I like our new signings and am genuinely excited by what might happen. Still think our odds are very generous. Will be happy to see midtable with a few good wins at home

Again , everyone has their own opinions, I understand that, but for goodness sake can we have a little perspective, we’re talking about someone turning up uninformed and having to stump up the princely sum of £5, max, !! It’s going to take some explaining is that one, but following on from the earlier post on the official website regarding pricing, everything should be clear to everyone.

Can see valid points on both sides now let the club let the fans know the price for the friendly games season tickets or not. Fans can then decide if they want to attend or not. Let’s start the season with a positive attitude and believing the people running the club know what they are doing. Onwards and upwards.

We have had some season ticket posters printed and are distributing them around Local pubs and shops. Would anyone like any? Would help if we could get them in some local businesses.

I paid for my season ticket on Friday and emailed the club confirmation of such but as of yet no acknowledgement of payment or email. Is this normal or have they got a backlog of requests due to a late surge in tickets??
