I heard tonight that the goalkeeper that Mr Kittrick was quoted as saying was still going to be Guiseley's No 1 (Dicko) has gone out on loan to a side in an higher division, Hucknall. That is another player that had us up in 4th position when the new management came in that has been sent on his way. Only time will tell.

I know statistics never tell the whole story, but since Skiba was signed he's conceded 3 goals in 7 games compared to Dicko's 4 in 1.
I'm yet to be totally convinced by him, but it's easy to see why SK's kept faith. And as long as there's an instant recall arrangement, doesn't letting Dicko go on loan make sense on every level?
As I see it, the only mistake the Manager's made has been in making a statement that could only ever lead to problems.

Dicko has done the right thing, he wants to be playing football not standing watching and hopefully he will get the opportunity and the respect he deserves from Hucknall. The fact that he is only there on loan is a bonus for us, as I too have yet to be convinced by Skiba. (Has he earned the shirt ) I have seen all the games he has played for us and I think he owes a lot to the defenders in front of him ,and to be honest has not been really tested by the opposition. Attention has been drawn to 3 good and one top class save by him, well that is what is expected at this level. Maybe we took it for granted when Dicko was in goal and some people might only appreciate him when it is too late. Good Luck Dicko.

At least he'll get some games. Age doesn't come into it ...Look at Nevile Southall, Ray clements, David Seaman etc...... He's in starting line up today @ home against Boston. Good luck Steve!!

Stop trying to hang on to a past player!!?? Dicko was a great player for Guiseley but the current manager thinks somebody else is better!! Stop whinging and start getting behind your team and aim for the play-offs!!

It seems to me that members 'he' & 'nemesis1' are connected to the current management in place! Clearly the management have made a mistake in letting him go i mean if he's not good enough why have 3 clubs in higher leagues wanted to sign him and he's now playing for one of them. If Sk recalled Dicko to the team i hope he tells him where to stick it!! Good luck Dicko

In reply to "he" expressing an opinion is not whinging ,nor trying to hang on to the past.Trying to hang on to good players ? Yes. We are supporting and " getting behind our team".We will also still be guiseley supporters for many years to come. Not here today gone tomorrow!!!!!

I can honestly say that he and nemesis1 are not connected to any of the management but obviously sjd is connected to Dicko we have only had 1 phone call regarding Steve so sjd knows more than we do and with regards to making a mistake in letting him go thats your opinion which you are entitled to,my opinion which i am also entitled to is that at the moment Steve playing for Hucknall is best for both parties.

Since Wayne is on the defensive I can honestly say that i am not connected to Steve, although i have spoken to him on a few occasions. As for the other clubs I am however connected to a few managers in the higher leagues.... hope that clears things up Wayne!
