In my view this was our best performance since we beat Marine away. Hednesford provided strong opposition and had beaten Gateshead two days prior to our visit. They had plenty of posession and carried an attacking threat throughout the game. We defended well throughout with Ellis and Sturdy strong at the back, well supported by the full backs and Skiba, although he was at fault for Hedensford's first goal, pulled off some superb saves, especially in the first half, which prevented Hednesford getting back into the game. We played excellent counter attacking football - Noble and Dunne broke the play up well in midfield and Dunning had one of his best games of late, pulling the strings and releasing the forwards with intelligent defence splitting passes. What was particularly pleasing was the clinical finishing by the strikers, who combined well throughout and always carried a goal threat.
All in all a hugely entertaining game and a very good all round performance by Guiseley. We need a repeat at Whitby on Friday.

He's rough on everyday of the week Adam, not just Fridays. From a good source within Port Vale I have heard that Lee Sinnott was at Mondays game. He's looking to re-build at Vale for next season and was most likely taking a look at Lee Tuck who he managed when he was at Farsley.

That's a bit rude to bluesquare. I think that it's good of Andy Firbank to keep us informed.

Boselecta I thought it might be Danny, I thought he was after him when he was at Farsley. Also I thought Tuck scored 2 goals on Monday not a hat trick, didn't James get the second one attributed to Lee.
