you mean those seats which were already broken when we arrived, trying to offload your poor seating / stand onto another club is really low and reflects your teams heartless performance and your fans unpassionate support

I still don't think that interrogating the baseball bat will yield much...

Perhaps someone noticed that a section of your support had not yet mastered the art of walking in the erect position, and directed them accordingly.

Sorry Disguiselee; Yes, I do think it was funny.
I wrote it mid afternoon over a cup of tea at work, and still happen to stand by it right now...
Were you very close to where this horrific weapon of mass destruction was yielded, and were you, (was anyone?) personally threatened by the danger of its use?
We'd do well to not be overbothered by the stupid and ill advised actions of a (probably) lager-fuelled and spotty kid. He hardly represents the public face of the over-riding threat to human democracy, and would probably see your granny across the road if she could be even bothered to ask.
Furthermore, where were all the men? And, didn't anyone think to get off their backsides and go and take the d*mned thing off him? (It was a ''him', wasn't?).

I think that what I was trying to say is that there's a simple problem of a kid showing off with a baseball bat and that the simple, obvious problem is to be man enough to take the damned thing off him...Simple, easy to sort out human being, simple problem, simple solution. It could (and should) have been sorted out in seconds. Were there only defenceless woman and children who were sat around him? Where were the men?

Sorry i was not at the game but it appears my Kung Fu skills may have come in handy BUT NO wait , the have a go hero is the one who would have in trouble in this pc correct loonie left world. What would have happened if the lad had been arrested , his clever soliciter gets him off by stating that his client thought the game was at the Baseball Ground. PTF

Yeadoner - you are not on the same planet - a colleague who I stand with at home games went into the foul-mouthers and removed the baseball in question and gave it to a Worksop official - end of story.
