Is anybody going to watch the Ressies tomorrow afternoon? Should be a pretty good game, and we need a win to bounce back after that defeat at Wakefield last week... Get the kettle and the toast on, Mabel, we're on our way!...

can't believe Guiseley only post when your winning , you only post when your winning ----- ups sounds like a football chant

Superb performance from the Reserves! 8-0 (Eight nil!) to Guiseley, and Silsden had both their first choice and their replacement keeper sent off...4 of the goals were as good as you could see anywhere at any time...An excellent afternoon's entertainment from the lads...

There wasn't a post of the Wakefield game because the website was down for a few days when I tried posting, after that I was too busy with a proper life unlike some who come on here merely to moan, sneer or boost their own egos and we all know what happens to them. Losing to Wakefield was no disgrace, they are a good side and the lad who scored a hat-trick for them was quality. and I personally don't think we would have lost had we started with the team we finished with rather than having to give same faker a try out for the first team manager. Turned out it was someone we had turned away from the reserves a couple of seasons earlier!! Wakefield will be there or thereabouts just as they were last season - a decent side. Their striker who scored their three goals was quality. The win over Silsden was granted against what was finally nine men but they were well beaten by then anyway and on chances created we should have been in double figures by half-time. And by the way it was not Guiseley's fault that they had two players sent off. You can only play against what is thrown up at you. Well done boys for another great afternoon's entertainment. Some people don't seem to like this team winning and playing an exciting brand of football that thrills the big crowds that are starting to come to these games. I wonder why? What first teamers do you keep harping on about, do you mean fringe players who hardly or never get a game in the first team? Come come jealousy seems to be the word that springs to mind. We will just continue playing the football and you get on with whatever it is you do. Ressec
