It's not in a state, it's in a county; it's in Staffordshire.

The word is that Leek aren't trying too hard to dry out their pitch; every couple of hours, the groundsman wades out and fans it with his cap. Apparently, a wet pitch helps Leek's game - a couple of their midfielders probably have webbed feet and flippers.
Staffordshire is a long, long way away, Adam, even further than Horsforth. Yes, it's quite near Birmingham, but Leek is in the top bit, nearly in Derbyshire where that funny Mr buxton lives.
So now you can tell your teachers that you've learnt English, Latin and Geography today by supporting Guiseley, and that they should give you the afternoon off to go to the game.

I have spoken with the Leek secretary this morning and there are no planned pitch inspections so the the prospects of going ahead are quite good. He admits the pitch is not brilliant but then few are given the recent weather and the amount games to fit in. So see you all at Leek tonight.

Is it a record Otleybard, Adam has had the last word on every post on the opening page? Adam in one of his posts says "School is boring x 100". Shall we tell him something else is boring x 100? You are his boss and mentor Otleybard!
