I just don't understand how we can get results against higher up teams and struggle badly against those below us.
This could serve us well in the play offs though as we will play teams in a similar position to us.

None of us could understand how Damien Dunne was still on the park if the ref applied the laws correctly leektownfan. Can only put it down to being fouled in the first place but surely that would mean that your player should have been cautioned as well? Very mysterious.

I think he bottled it because the referees assessor was there

All the more reason to stick to the letter of the law I would have thought. Mind you he had to consult the liner twice about a Leek free kick in the second half and then didn't have a word with anyone. Thought he was gonna send the liner off!

Just to respond to Richard and anyone else questioning why Gavin was taken off last night,HE WAS INJURED,hope this clears up any confusion. Please accept my apology Wayne. However it highlights a hole in the squad when we have two strikers injured and nothing on the bench to bring on to change things. What happened to Bruno Holden? R

cant understand why cotty is on the bench has he been injured or is has paypacket slowing him down. he's a quality player. You seem to have quite a few injuries at the moment obviously keeping your sports therapist busy.

Bruno has had a broken foot so is not available for selection,we were hoping Dean Walters was going to be fit for the last few games to give us another option but that doesnt look likely either.Fingers crossed James is fit on Saturday.
