The fiasco of Saturday all bounces back at the League doesn't it and also common sense. Although a local inspection is done early the league should insist the referee arrives at the ground by midday for pitch inspection and then make a decision,still not brilliant for travelling fans from a distance but better than nothing. It was a FAT match why would the league insist on anything  Lets hope the decision is communicated better tomorrow  |

thank's for that guiseley! got to within a couple of miles of the ground and told it was off! Was talking to our physio when we arrived back in kiddy and he said it was rock hard and couldn't believe how anyone could say it was on earlier in the day, Hopefully my journey tomorrow will not be wasted.

Deary me, what is everyone on about ?
Personally, I think the game was prefectly playable when I reviewed the ground on Friday........lush grass, bright sunshine, very hot............what is everyone on about ??

I went and checked it the Wednesday afternoon before and it was looking good. Nice, soft and crispy!! Very playable

I'm not kidding, it was fine............ Oh hang on a minute ................ Friday, I was in Orlando, Florida. 83 deg in the shade !! Sorry I forgot, must have been the 33 deg at Manchester airport froze my brain, (boy was it cold  ). Anyway, looks like I only missed a couple of games due to the postponements. Have a good holiday matey? Wish I was back there right now! 80 + deg every day, even the locals were complaining it was too warm ! Wish I didn't have to be back at work even for only a week freezing my bullocks off as the heating's broken down. Still we can all keep warm tomorrow night, jumping up & down to GAFC's goals keeping warm infront of telly after the game is called off again. Rallyman |
