with the players he has at the minute, what a joke .how many players are on contract , ask yourselves that. he cant suddenly turn up and change the personnel overnight and he cant instill a bit of heart and testes into the boys, that comes from within. he did a good job at ossett and given the chance he and his son (wayne benn)will do the same at guiseley. its time the big time charlies started earning their money instead of just turning up and collecting it. feel free to rant back, opinions are like arseholes everybody has 1.

i agree, give the man a chance!! he will still be assesing the squad and seeing who he wants and who he doesnt, its been a hectic shedule over xmas and results havnt been ideal, but am sure given time and a chance to stamp his mark on the job, he will be successful, i sumtimes wonder if people just come on here to moan or be negative or maybe they just dont have a clue!!

Doesn't sound like a manager to me but could well be someone from his circle of friends.

This is a purely personal opinion. Despite having a Manager, Assistant Manager and First Team Coach we were beaten this afternoon by a team who had previously won just three out of twenty one matches.
When TD was replaced I presumed we were heading for Conference, not Unibond North and surely with the budget we have surely we should be signing players who have proven Conference ability or potential?
I pose these questions as a concerned supporter who has seen a one time potential championship team adopt relegation form. We have the finance, the ambition, the drive, the ability and the support to move up so why can we get it right on the field given the investment that has been made? Current Manager knew the expectations; its time to deliver.

Brilliant idea, he!
Now let's see; replacing the directors' investments, paying off the contracted players and attracting eighteen or so replacements.
How much cash have you got on you at the moment?

At least 6 of the players who turned out today need to look at themselves after todays limp wristed affair. First half - no passion no ambition, second half - clueless! Dicko had one shot to save all afternoon and it went in, Dunn and Dunning failed to control the mid field, Betts and Walters waisted 90% of the possession they had. Come on Mr Kitterick show some leadership - get some quality signed to match the ambition of the club and sharpen the axe for the dead wood! R

You were beaten by a club that's now won 4 out of 6. Frickley aren't playing like a team at the bottom. Kittrick is stuck with players on contract. He can't get new players in till he's shipped out the dead wood. He did a good job at Ossett. Judge him when he has his own team, not one inherited from Terry Dolan.

Guiseley were very poor - however to say Frickley are any better would be a lie.
It was a poor game, with little to shout about.
We are at the right end of the table and other results went our way on the whole. A break from the league next week when we play a inform Eastwood Town in the cup. A chance to try a few choice changes in the formation and may looking to a new captain in Danny Ellis (personal opinion) my team would be:
Dicko
Dunning Ellis Sturdy Agus
Walters Knight Dunne Hanson
Smith Wilford
Subs: Betts Hay Thornton
Think we need to get back to winning ways asap, however it may take a few weeks (hope i am wrong)

As I understand it terry Dolan was dismissed because he couldn't 'guarantee' promotion to the Conferance North. If that is the case the Directors should be ashamed of themselves! No manager (not even Ferguson or Wenger) can guarantee anything. You lost a good manager who had you in the top 5 and now you are falling like a stone! Witton are too far ahead to catch for automatic promotion, squeezing into the top 5 is your best (fading) hope now. Why on earth did you do it? Sheer madness!! How long before your (absurdly) impatient Directors sack Kitterick (who looks like he might be out of his depth)? Oh and can we have Marc Smith back please?!

Bagpuss sounds like a bit of a wonder woman to me. To keep comparing Kitty's record at Ossett to his time at Guiseley is ridiculous. Two completely different clubs different levels of expectation, different budgets different backroom staff. One thing is for certain speculation so early on is not good for anybody.
