As we play most of our football up the middle for the big strikers to get on to he will be missed - and i cant see us playing in any other way until we sign a few more creative players in midfield. What is the point of letting 1st team squad players go with no replacement ? Yes if they put in a request to leave but not sure this is the case unless anyone else knows differently.
Smithy did & does a job for us & we've scored goals from his knock-downs, nevermind the goals he's already scored for us this season.
I, for one, hope he does go (unless he wants to).
