I see that Marcus Dewhurst has joined Boston United on loan. He was a great keeper for us in his loan spell.

No real movers and shakers after tonight’s results. We have games in hand that we need to take advantage of. Darlington with a surprise win at Fylde and similar for Blyth at Southport.
Hopefully we can get a point or more from the York game to go on a good run.

Looks like all teams around us who played got a point or three except Farsley who lost at Gateshead (no shame in losing away to top-of-the-table mind). Would be nice to pickup a few points from the next few games to establish a bit of a cushion from the bottom club. Rallyman

Well we aren’t bottom tonight after a tight game between BPA v Farsley who could have stolen a point at the end. These matches in hand are truly vital now as Telford picked up maximum points last night.

Well I'll be missing from games now until the Telford game on 22nd. I'm hoping that if we beat Telford we would break the 30 points barrier. Is that too much to ask bearing in mind the Telford game is six from now ?

Think these 5 games will determine which league we play in next season - I’m hoping for 9 points

Definitely some critical games coming up. I know we should not set too much store by games in hand, but it is a fact that Telford, Gloucester, Chester and Blyth are all within reach and we have them all to play, 3 at home, I think. It is very much in our hands, but we need to grasp the opportunity to escape.

Just tried watching video of BPA v Farsley but you need a pair of binoculars to see the detail, don't think whoever is behind the camera has heard of 'zoom'. In comparison our match videos look like Hollywood blockbusters!

I see Blyth have gone all "1's" !!
One match played, one match lost, one manager sacked. Is that a record for NLN ?

Macclesfield now on the management merry-go-round having parted company with Mark Duffy and his team. Comes on the back of losing four out of the last five so it seems like at Bury they expect to walk the league. Both clubs need a reality check to realise that they are no longer in the EFL and its a long road back.
