Premier League gamesmanship came to Nethermoor yesterday and I'm so glad that I don't have to watch that every week. Thought we coped well and the fresh legs second half had them on the back foot in the latter stages but keeper should have been cautioned for time wasting. Hate to think how their defence would have reacted to Aaron Martin's robust approach, match probably wouldn't have finished until around 6'ish! Looks like we've found common ground- I'm so glad I don't have to watch a team of thugs sending opposition players to A&E.

When you've lost the argument you were trying to make about two clubs, you complain about how a third club left a fourth club's dressing room untidy. It's the literary equivalent of time-wasting in the eleventh minute. And when you lose to the mighty Chester, again, you resort to calling us divers, time-wasters etc, even though you basically support a rugby team. I'm guessing your profile picture is in reference to your club, Nik? It absolutely is, yes. But I really would encourage you to read the thread again - we didn't mind losing. We're just glad that the best teams in this division don't play like Chester.

Proper freaks, need to look in the mirror..... Allegedly a 'big' club and fussed about us. Followed by loads of kids with shitty Burberry scarves singing about Wrexham more than their own club. My advice is stop dressing like yer Dad did in 1990 when he was already out of fashion. Small 'city' mentality!

Well that was fun. Nothing like a bit of fishing and reeling in a few! A very partisan bunch verging on blinkered. But it works for them.
We were definitely a bit leggy on Saturday - I think it told that we had to stick with a previously successful side. All told though we were very close to getting a point.
A while ago I felt that we were reliant on a spine of Dewhurst, Garner, Spencer and Martin. Yet we lose three of them but find a solution. Right now Jones is looking invaluable, Soleman a danger, Bencherif is solid at the back, and Felix has a new lease of life up front. I think we are just a couple short of a good squad again. Fresh legs showed their worth again on Saturday at the late stages.
Not bad for a pub team.

Their tactics may work at the “2010 arena” but wait till they meet another team playing the same way, they all fall down eventually. You lot just hope we don’t go up so you can have your two little cup finals against us hahahaha Yorkshire I love you That’s the longest anyone from Chester has lasted under Guiseley offensive without screaming for the referee.

Chester fans, I fear you miss the point. We are not denying that your grand historic city is, at least on the surface, grander than our humble township. We acknowledge that you have a strong team and deserved to win. However, as far as cheating, gamesmanship and bad sportsmanship go, you have a team and management to be ashamed of. Why not approach your management or, if necessary, board, and ask if these things can be changed before your reputation is irredeemably sullied?

Don’t think we care what youse think tbh I watch us every game and we constantly get shafted by refs in this league. Would hardly call us cheats when one of our player spent night in a&e

Interesting if wholly inaccurate view and for the sake of balance, I draw your attention to your home game against Braintree in 2016, and given what happened I don't really think that guiseley fans have any grounds to lecture anyone about unsporting behaviour. What a cheek ! www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35688761

You don’t even have the ability to admit you’re asking us to feel sorry for your hardened pros being duffed up a team of actual kids.

I've rely nothing against Chester or their fans, but I hope those posting here about their keeper breaking a cheekbone will be asking their own management why, when the ref had stopped the game for the injury, physically delayed their own physio going onto the field despite the ref beckoning her on. In 50 odd years of watching football, I've never seen that before. Crass behaviour that should be called out by the Chester fans.

This was also in the last minute of 6 minutes added time. Why would they delay sending the physio on ?
