Lebrun seemed a lovely fella but I don't think he is one I will lose too much sleep over. Not his fault really, like Nik mentions he never got a run in one position. I think last season he played every position bar goalkeeper. I always thought he'd have been forward we needed to play off a quick stricker. He was big with good feet. When he got played there towards the end of the season I though he looked decent.

Pleased to see Lewis on our retained list. Think a full season of NPL football for him and Adam H will be incredibly beneficial for them and us. Really like the signing of Spence Harris. Impressed by what Danny E is putting together - we have a very experienced back-line I’m far more optimistic than I was when I left the ground at Alfreton

Really hope Andy K can have a good pre season and stay fit. I think he could be the best player in this league. Although based on recent years keeping fit is a big ask.

Players offered terms of reengagement – George Cantrill, Regan Hutchinson, Andrew Hollins and Oliver Brown. Offered new contracts, but have they accepted ? Would be good if all four would re-sign, but suppose they have their own futures to think about & any offers from NLN sides may be too tempting especially if accompanied by extra dosh. Rallyman

Rallyman I imagine that if George Cantrill had said yes, Adam would be hollering it from the rooftops. Here’s hoping he still does…

Welcome back to Nethermoor Spencer Harris! The defender played a handful of games nearly ten years ago and even stated himself this: "I don’t think that they saw the best of me." He seems to have been a popular player where he has been since and I remember him playing against us a few times and being impressed by him, another great interview from someone who clearly is passionate about playing for GAFC. Looks like another good young prospect. Must admit I'm quite impressed by the quality that we are signing and it's only three weeks to the first friendly!

I'm not one to usually be shocked at where players go after us, but Christ on a bike I didn't see this one happening. Alfreton?! Really?! I can only assume somehow that he's been absolutely guaranteed to be in the starting XI, game in, game out, without fail.
I'm staggered that an EFL side hasn't taken him for their development side, like Nathan Newall last summer, and quite probably Josh Stones this summer.
If he hasn't been guaranteed first team football at Alfreton, I'm surprised he's opted to move on to a part-time NLN side, given that I'd have thought he'd be a regular for us next season given Danny Ellis obviously knows his talents having coached him in our academy.
All the best Ollie!

A confusing one. How many games is he going to get, and will playing a small role in a Heath team help him develop towards getting a pro contract?
Noticing a singular theme in the representation of the players who’ve made odd moves… I think I miss the days when there weren’t agents at our level…
