Welcome to new goalkeeping coach Danny King, Danny formerly of Bradford (Park Avenue) has joined Andy Welsh's backroom team. Leaving the club is first team coach Martin Foster and Kyle O'Reilly with the club's best wishes for the future: guiseleyafc.co.uk/club-statement-staff-update/Anyone know why Martin and Kyle have left the Club? Their decision or the Clubs? Sad to see Martin and Kyle go, two top people who have given plenty to the club over the last few weeks and they will be sorely missed at Nethermoor, good luck for the future Martin and Kyle! AB Definitely not Martin and Kyle’s choice. Happened before we were due to play Whitby apparently. Very disappointing.

Baffling decision if we were losing every game and playing rubbish I could understand it. If it’s the new managers decision who’s next to go? Not happy with the decision to get rid of Martin and Kyle but who are the fans to complain. Onwards and upwards.

Also disappointing to hear Kofi Moore has been recalled by Oldham. He was a star player for me in the win over Ilkeston. Really pity he would be available again.

Also disappointing to hear Kofi Moore has been recalled by Oldham. He was a star player for me in the win over Ilkeston. Josh Stones is now on loan at Oldham. I assume they must have their own problems, so it's not surprising to see they have recalled a quality player.

K'Marni Miller has signed first team forms and earned his senior debut at Garforth in the County Cup earlier this month. The defender then got his NPL debut in a Boxing Day loss to Marske United coming on as a second half substitute. Congratulations K'Marni! Joining the club is winger Sincere Hall: guiseleyafc.co.uk/lions-seal-sincere-hall-loan-deal/Hall has arrived on loan from Hull City for a month. In other news Brad Wade has left the club and signed for full time side Cork City, he will move to Ireland in the new year. Sad that it just hasn't worked out for Brad this time round but he has got himself a brilliant opportunity and a chance to step back in to full time football which is something he has been working hard for. Good luck Brad: guiseleyafc.co.uk/two-depart-from-nethermoor/Also leaving the club is striker Jake Forshaw and forward Kofi Moore. The pair arrived from Oldham in November and have now returned to their parent club, good luck Jake ad Kofi! Also heading out on loan is defender Courtney Meppen-Walters who has today joined Nantwich Town for a month. The former Radcliffe man has missed a chunk of this season through injury and will gain some vital minutes in Cheshire, good luck Courtney! AB

We are on the lookout for new recruits as Stuart and Russ were at Ossett United this afternoon while Andy Welsh had gone to Stalybridge.

Welcome back Kofi Moore who rejoins on a season long loan deal from Oldham Athletic. The winger made his second debut at the Horsfall on New Year's Day. Also joining the club is Abimbola Obasoto, the winger was at Radcliffe after working with Andy Welsh at Bury. Welcome to Guiseley Abimbola! Finally Josh Ashman has returned to the club following the end of his loan spell at Belper Town. The defender completed every game during his time with the Nailers: guiseleyafc.co.uk/moore-returns-as-lions-sign-obasoto/AB

See we've signed another winger on loan, Michael Afuye from Rochdale. which I think that makes at least five players in that position. To quote 'He is described as an exciting prospect who plays exciting football using skill to score various types of goals' but only scored 12 in 34 appearances with AVRO so there's onbviously some work to do and given that we are shipping around 1.5 goals per game the priority should surely be a couple of experienced defenders and defensive midfield player?

See we've signed another winger on loan, Michael Afuye from Rochdale. which I think that makes at least five players in that position. Surely I can't be the only person hoping to see that Mr Welsh is shaping the team to mimic the traditional monumental successes of British football. Ruddy heck - we invented the game! Forget about Alf Ramsey and his wingless wonders, we want Stanley Mathews and Tom Finney and the full-blooded guts and thunder of a 2-3-5 formation. We might leak 9 goals by not bolstering the defence and midfield, but by golly we'll score 10 with that lot up front! God save the Queen!

And a very happy 1954 to you plasticman! Still got your flat cap and wooden rattle? Indeed, like all proper supporters should. I'm sponsoring the players' half-time Woodbines today. They'll help liven up their lungs.
