Just a suggestion...
Wouldn't this be the perfect occasion to test the market for some kind of supporters' transport?

Otley Bard! Get the Train from Guiseley to Leeds and then the Selby/Goole train from Leeds, the grounds only a stones throw from the Station, straight up the Road. You can use your Senior Railcard as well OB unless you have an old persons Metro card or would you like to borrow mine? That's a great trip out on a Saturday afternoon to see the Lads!

Just looked at the trains OB. One leaves Guiseley at 1254hrs. change at Leeds. Arrives Selby at 1357hrs. (1 hour 3 mins.) Return Journey. Leaves Selby at 1709hrs. change at Leeds. Arrives Guiseley at 1813hrs. (1 hour 4 mins.) There's another leaves Selby at 1743hrs. change Leeds. Arrives Guiseley at 1843hrs. Fare £10-50 Return! I don't think that is bad considering the fuel prices just now do you?
If you want to go from Horsforth Station there's one leaves at 1305hrs. change Leeds arrives Selby the same as the Guiseley one (same train from Leeds) at 1357hrs. (52 mins.) Coming back from Selby on the same 1709hrs. train change Leeds. Arrives Horsforth at 1811hrs. (1 hour 2 mins.) Amazing RETURN Fare from Horsforth to Selby £6-70 There's another leaves Selby at 1731hrs. change Leeds. Arrives Horsforth at 1841hrs.
Make your choice lads.

I know its only Weds, but anyone know how the Selby pitch is standing up to the rain ?
Predicting heavy downpours tomorrow & possibly Friday for East Yorkshire.
Could be worth a phone call or two Sat morning.

Haven't decided yet, H. The Horsforth option sounds attractive (what's the parking round the station like nowadays?) but since Kendal we're inclined to use the form of transport where turning round and going home at short notice is easiest. Don't think they'd appreciate such requests on the Trans-Pennine line!
