Would be good to know (in due course) what offerings will be available at the new outlet. The burgers were a big hit last season so would be great to see them stay and the alcohol facility was also vital given the issues with the clubhouse bar. Hopefully beer and a burger will still be on the menu this season!

After the success last season and the need to raise some additional funds. Yorkshire Burger and Beers will be available for our pre-season games.

Chris here again. I do hope those doggy bags and discarded coke cans accumulating in the otherwise empty skips are bio-degradable! Anyway, on an even more serious note, the Club announcement about delays and extra costs was very welcome. Like all fans I sincerely hope both problems can be overcome. So much work and effort has been expended by the RTR team and supporters alike. And with the finish line so close now. Keep on going everyone!!👍

Capacity for the Harrogate and Leeds United friendlies has been reduced to 2,500 due to these on going works. AB As people say, good early comms from club to this. Don't think the 2,500 capacity will be an issue for Harrogate, but depends what Leeds team turn up. I remember many moons ago when Mr D Wise was their managr, Leeds signing their new keeper & annoucing he would play 45 mins against us. Result was huge increase in Leeds attendance which offically was 2,500 from memory, but in reality felt like a lot more. Rallyman

Skipwatch! I love it! Any newly hatched standlets or rooflings to report? Suspect usual format for updates - show not tell, once they're sure we'll know more... I hate the close season Do they have many skipdippers in the the area that might threaten the nestlings? You know the sort - predators that might steal the contents of the nest, or like cuckoos, deposit their own? I assume they've arranged a rota of academy players to keep watch from a hide in the George Stocks stand. It would be awful to wake up and find a Matlock stand making itself at home in our ground, invasive species as they are…

What is the issue with the new stand? Its been nearly 7 weeks since the wall came down but literally nothing has happened since then? Seems the mid-August date is unlikely to now be met.

What is the issue with the new stand? Its been nearly 7 weeks since the wall came down but literally nothing has happened since then? Seems the mid-August date is unlikely to now be met. Bits have happened in the last few days, not that you could tell from inside the ground. Holes dug, now the ground is to be pile driven due to issues with the soil. Hopefully see more progress in the next two weeks. Don't panic.

Can confirm there were the sounds of someone doing something with machinery down that end yesterday when I was at the ground. I didn’t go down to see exactly what but it definitely sounded like groundwork.

They started on Monday morning and after the piling comes the concrete and then presumably the supports for the cantilever.

Was at Nethermoor yesterday and the piling and concreting is complete leaving the connections that the steel uprights will be bolted on to. Understand that these are due in situ during the next two weeks.
