What are the thoughts for the future if this one is lost?

As Rachel said in her programme notes on Saturday, "We havent a cat in Hell's chance of winning...(the FA Cup)", so I think it'll be the game after this one (at home to Nantwich early next week) where there might be a few very restless natives if we lose...

Were them notes meant to be in the programme or were they meant for this weekend? AB

I think they were in the programme last Saturday(at least they were when I had a look a couple of minutes ago) and they were, I think, meant to be a comment on this coming weeks match...

That's a terrible attitude to competing in the world's greatest club football competition...not to mention the 3 grand prize money and the pleasure that would come with beating the Whi Aye Men.

Got to agree regarding the FA Cup. For club's like us, a good cup run puts a smile on everyone's face as well as much need coffers in the jar.
I say we play our best eleven (whoever they are) & give it a right good go.
(Just, if they come with 6' + defenders, don't lets play it in the air up front again, please).

Pris
Saying we have not a cat in hell's chance of getting to Wembley was one phrase taken out of context for Yeadoner's forum posting. If you bought a programme and read the piece it said how great it is to have a good run in the FA Cup and it was time we had another to match our great efforts when getting to play Carlisle and Luton Town. It went on about what memories we have of glorious FA Cup runs. Great memories and time we had some more was what I said. It continued: The FA Cup has a magic all of its own. Of course we are all realistic enough to know that what newspapers and the rest of the media like to bill as the road to Wembley is nothing more than a dirt track for us non-league clubs really but we are all in there pitching to be that one minnow who goes further then the rest in the competition. We haven’t a cat in hell’s chance of getting to Wembley in this competition but we can pick up a few scalps along the way to earning the club a rich bonus and we can get lots of national exposure in the press and on TV if we get it right. Let’s hope this is ‘our year’ and we have another glorious run. There is nothing to beat it!
Will that do Pris?

Fair enough ressec now you've summarised the whole article . I take back my earlier comments but blame ydr for misleading me

Sorry, Mr Pris, and sorry Ressec...With hindsight it would have been more useful if I'd quoted it in context, but the comment (about cats andd Hell) just came to mind and I ran with it...I'll consider myself told off!...
