Rumours coming out of Avenue seem to confirm both of the above appointments.

It's a great shame things didn't work out for Sinbad. I was surprised he took the Avenue job in the first place and thought he should have got the York job. Still don't know if he walked or was pushed.
Hard to say if Deacey will make it this time as a manager but it makes sense to appoint from within because Avenue is a difficult job for anyone & at least he knows what he's getting. Wayne Benn might also be feeling a little nose out of joint tonight.

TODAYS T&A
Bradford Park Avenue have confirmed manager Lee Sinnott has left the club.
The former Port Vale boss tendered his resignation following Monday night’s FA Cup third qualifying-round replay defeat at home to Buxton.
As UniBond League Premier Division side Avenue slipped out of the competition to an 89th-minute penalty, Sinnott slipped out of Horsfall Stadium for the last time.
Avenue will go into this weekend’s FA Trophy tie against Clitheroe under the guidance of John Deacey.
The assistant manager has stepped into the breach following Sinnott’s decision to walk away.
The speculation had reached fever pitch since rumours first began circulating on Tuesday morning that Sinnott was no longer in charge. Deacey ran the training sessions in the interim.
There has still not been an official statement from the club but director Kevin Hainsworth has put all the speculation to rest.
He told the T&A: “Lee has definitely gone. He resigned after the Buxton game and the board finally accepted that late last night.
“There will be an official announcement today because there are things that need sorting out.
“We have had our fingers burned in the past by being too open and speaking out early so we are ironing a few details out before we can make a full statement.”
Former Bantams and Huddersfield Town defender Sinnott made his name as a manager with local rivals Farsley Celtic before being head-hunted by Port Vale, who were then a Coca-Cola League One outfit.
Deacey was Sinnott’s number two in their highly successful spell with Farsley Celtic and took the manager’s role at Horsfall Stadium when Sinnott was on gardening leave from Port Vale, but moved aside to work with him once again when he became available.
Deacey confirmed his position as interim manager yesterday.
“I have been asked to take charge of the side for Saturday’s visit of Clitheroe but that is as far as discussions have gone so far,” said Deacey.
“I would not like to make any further comment about that or about Lee at this moment in time. I’m sure I will speak to Lee over the next couple of days.”
There is speculation that Deacey has already been offered the job on a full-time basis, and that Guiseley reserves manager Vince Brockie will be his number two.

Actually quite relieved "numpty" has gone down this line to be honest. We were playing better football under Deacy before Sinnot took over IMO, including two decent performances against yourselves over Xmas and NewYear. Rumours of Bleasdale and Marrow taking over were deeply worrying and could have started another mass turnaround of players at the club again. This appointment will give the decent players we have, some continuity at least. Season isn't over yet by a long shot. We may be currently placed well down the league, but are only five points off a play-off spot with games in hand. Correct me if I'm wrong but we have only lost the same amount of games as the current three leaders and yourselves. Neither are we the only club eliminated from the FA Cup this week.

True, gary, but you're the only club that reacted in such a knee-jerk manner.
Everything in your last paragraph is true; wouldn't it be better directed at the Avenue 'board'?

NO,because dispite our poor form, the occasional solid, good performance gives hope that Deacey can turn it round,as GaryOwen says when JD was in charge without Sinnott at his side,we actially had our best run of form last season,IMO Sinbad hasnt a clue tactically, lets see the turn around in playing style and results now hes gone.

To be honest ,i think Deacy and Brockie will get your season back on track.Deacy did very well without Sinbad, and Brockie knows non league football inside out. With BB's wallet open, pretty sure one or two manager's will be very wary, of losing their player's.......

Sure you will benefit from Vinnie's input just as Farsley are benefitting from a certain Mr Parsley where he is supported by Simo Bambrook. Add this to Paul Lines and Steve Milner at Ossett, Dave Morgan at Thackley, Wayne Benn and Steve whatsisname who was Hall Road and GAFC obviously provides a good grounding for a career in NL management. Unlike other clubs we nurture our management and don't keep showing 'em the door on a regular basis. We even train them to be succesful abroad eg: Bobby Davidson at Ferencvaros!

You already know the answer to above bard. It would fall on deaf ears. Whilst a few of us would be happy to build steadily for the future. The instant success culture inherent at our club, far outways the steady away one now, right down to the fans. Regardless of which manager is in situ, the problem is in the dressing room. We have replaced a load of money chasers with like. Unfortunately, because they weren't brought in by the new man, several others have been allowed to leave also. The likes of Haran, Spider, Connors and Claisse, who actually wanted to play for the club and brought, spirit, togetherness and mischief into the dressing room and made it buzz. Until they get someone in to get that back, I suspect we might continue to struggle in the meantime. I understand Andy Watson may be brought in, in a coaching capacity, for just that purpose, which is a start. I'd personally like to see the wages capped also. You get the right players joining then. Time will tell, but won't hold my breath.
