Isn't it lovely that the Avenue fans feel they can come here for a bit of tea and sympathy like they do?...

Sure you will benefit from Vinnie's input just as Farsley are benefitting from a certain Mr Parsley where he is supported by Simo Bambrook. Add this to Paul Lines and Steve Milner at Ossett, Dave Morgan at Thackley, Wayne Benn and Steve whatsisname who was Hall Road and GAFC obviously provides a good grounding for a career in NL management. Unlike other clubs we nurture our management and don't keep showing 'em the door on a regular basis. We even train them to be succesful abroad eg: Bobby Davidson at Ferencvaros! Interesting and impressive list I would agree bigj but a few of them were shown the door at Guiseley. Not least Parsley when the club were riding high in the league. The club would have been in a better position if they had stuck with him. His level of commitment and personal sacrifice at Farsley has been immense (and largely unsung) when most people would have walked away.

Agreed pris, Pars did a good job at Nethermoor but personnaly I think it had all got a bit stale by the time he left but as he's proved that's no reflection on his ability, it's just a fact of life as a football manager.
