Oddly, that was a bit like watching a bottom of the table Premiership game (and I've suffered a few in the last seven or eight years at St Andrews); no-one really held onto the ball (which spent a lot of time in the air) and the away team kept an unambitious 9 outfield players behind the ball at all times to protect a point whilst looking to sneak the occasional break. At least it came at a fraction of the cost of a Prem game. Agree with the comments above, I'd also have liked to see Askham running at the full backs in the last 15 minutes as after a good spell of pressure it became apparent that shooting from distance was going to be the only real option. On the bright side, having been to Nethermoor this season for the games against Kings Lynn and Worksop, I was pleased to not see Guiseley lose! The last win I saw was the opening day against the Cammells last season, so I promise I will keep away for the next few weeks. Mind you, I went to Farsley last week, and as Pris says elsewhere on this site it was a cracking game although they too seemed to benefit from my losing streak. Finally, in the ongoing absence of the website, thanks to Nik for telling me at half time how to find the way back to this forum. Oh, and I enjoyed the variety of pre-match music too!

Sorry but if it was you my advice is to lose the goatee. Thanks. I look ridiculous without - it's a chin divider, without it, my face is a huge pink blob. When I drop another stone or so I'll get rid.

..........Bett should of been bought on earlier.......... Think the "B" target in English is a tad optimistic AB, given that it should be "should HAVE" not "should OF", what is it with this and kids today - what are they being taught?? Are the teachers not allowed to correct poor grammar/spelling anymore for fear of offending you poor wee thing's fragile sensibilities? "Oh well dear, at least you tried - we can't understand a thing you've written, but at least you tried" <rant mode ON> Whilst we're on the subject - is Dyslexia an opt-out condition nowadays, in that you have to prove you DON'T have it - seems like every blimmin' "celebrity" interviewed was c**p at school because they "have now been diagnosed with dyslexia". I don't doubt the condition does exist, for a small group of suffers, but it certainly does appear that anyone who is sh!t at spelling automatically plays the "I'm dyslexic" card! Anything written on a computer should be perfect - that's what spell checkers are for FFS! {checks carefulli for smelling errars ;D} <rant mode OFF> Does LOL mean "lacking of language"?

The National Dyslexia Society (NSD) would dispute your claim that the condition is mainly an excuse by those who are sh!t at spelling (& turn your own spell check on volvoman; it's an 'i' not a'!').

Headache and now earache as well over here.
On the dyslexia point though, perhaps if it's common amongst celebrities there is a particular brain type that is more likely to produce a fame seeker?

On the basis of your theory, are you dyslexic nik? Just a narcissist. Spell THAT right with only half your brain working.

By which I mean on a dreary Sunday morning and NOT an insult towards people with dyslexia. I myself am dysvisulic. Because I've now seen four Guiseley games in a row where the referee and I saw completely different things for almost every decision in the match. Must be a problem with how my brain processes images.

The ref had a balanced game....he made equally bad decisions for both sides The linesman, who I think was also sporting a goatee, had a new take on the offside rule; Frickley defenders shout 'offside' so he gives it.

" I don't doubt the condition does exist, for a small group of suffers, but it certainly does appear that anyone who is sh!t at spelling automatically plays the "I'm dyslexic" card" I stand by my comment above, and the "!" was deliberate seeing as a "i" would have seen the word censored!
