Could anyone tell me what the score was when the Academy played Harrogate this week?
There seems to be a press embargo on the scores, and I searched high and low around the club’s website but everyone seems to be staying schtum. Are we doing this to protect the feelings of our opponents?

My apologies for the late response, but I didn’t see this earlier. Let me know if you’re up for a pint sometime, it’s been way too long!

Incidentally, the Academy's last five home games (all won) have been staged at Ben Rhydding (Kick-Off 1 pm), Trinity Horsforth (12.15 pm), St Mary's Menston (2 pm), Middleton (South Leeds) Leisure Centre (12.15 pm) and WRCFA Woodlesford (2.20 pm), all without any previous notification on the Club Website.
The lads hold an impressive lead at the top of their Division, but short of changing the team's name to Leeds United U-19s 'B', it would appear unlikely that any of their remaining four home games will be played at Nethermoor (their official home).
For the benefit of any success-hungry Lions' fans at a loose end during the day, would it be possible to publicize the matches' projected venues, locations and times on the Site?

Yes I agree, this is something we want to add to the website and with Rachel kindly writing the match reports it is giving the academy a much increased coverage but there should be more news on fixtures, KO times and venues. This is the same with the Vixens side as well. The best place to keep up to date is on Guiseley Academy's Twitter account: www.twitter.com/GuiseleyAcademy AB

It probably is, but after trawling through its ocean of irrelevance, the only advance info I could find there on the five games mentioned was two previous-day references, one same-day and nothing at all on the other two games. Meanwhile, the Academy News section of the redesigned Website seems to contain only historical items. I'm certainly not blaming you for this state of affairs, AB - nobody knows your difficulties better than I do - but I certainly think our supporters should have earlier and mainstream access to when and where their future heroes are competing.

Yay! Well done, AB, though I'd put a bet on 9.45 at Whitkirk Wanderers.
Can a Website mention be far behind?

AB, not all our supporters, especially the older ones, are on social media and rely on the website for their information.

Yes I totally agree and appreciate that, this is something we will need to look at.
It's also got to be carefully considered, we don't want to clutter the website with articles that are one or two lines long as this adds no value but we should be advertising the fixtures, locations and kick-off times on our website which isn't happening at the moment.
The academy did win 2-1 today:

AB In the meantime, and in the absence of any input from either Website or the Academy Twitter, the rest of us will need to look at the FA Full-Time site, which claims that at 11 am tomorrow the Academy will be away to FC Halifax, the only team to take points off them this season, at 'Leeds Road Sports Complex', wherever that is. Hoping the above couple of lines add a degree of value to our fans' knowledge without cluttering the Forum too much.
