We have ran a coach to 24 away games, 21 in the league and 3 cup matches, covering 3256 miles this season!
Thank you to everyone who has travelled with us, we'll hopefully see you all again soon.

Thanks to Paul again for organising the travel. Made my own way to Lancaster, so missed out on Paul's pub last Saturday. I'm told it was again a very good choice, offering several real ales and canal side location. If there was a prize, and I had to choose a "pub of the season", my vote this time would go to The Olde Hob Inn at Bamber Bridge, given its history during the 2nd WW and oldie world charm offered by the thatched roof. Are there any other contenders out there from the pubs called off at by the supporters coach?

I didn’t get to as many away games as I would have liked to last season, but I enjoyed every one of those I did. I’m hoping to go to more in 23/24. Every one was superbly organised, and I’d echo the word of thanks to Paul for his organisational skills.
I think I’ll buy Paul a pint for all his efforts. Come to think of it, I think we all should, and I know I’m safe in pledging my own pint as he doesn’t post on the forum. I will buy him a pint, though: Hold me to it now!
(I rambled on a bit more than usual there, didn’t I?)

Me again, and I promise not to ramble on this time, but does anyone remember the bar we went in at Histon when we travelled into deepest Cambridgeshire quite a while ago?
It was a tidy little bar that was built in to the back of the main stand, and I remember how the barmaid asked another steward to help her at the bar because she said she couldn’t understand our cut glass Yorkshire (God’s Own County*) accents.
I thought she was winding us up because I knew what I was saying, and I knew what all the Guiseley fans were saying, too, but she was adamant that she she couldn’t understand us, and the steward had to help her serve us all. Pretty odd one, that (the situation, not the girl, who otherwise seemed quite normal).

All my work teammates (apart from one Cockney) are Brummies and, boy, do they have a black-country drawl to their accents. Team meetings are sooooo exciting Rallyman

I find both of them pretty annoying. I like certain Yorkshire and Lancastrian accents, and I find Geordie pretty interesting, though I usually don’t have much idea what the Geordies are trying to say.

Paul does a brilliant job and let's hope that we've seen the back of the unruly kids. My companions at the Malta v England game and later, certainly a mixed bunch and took some tuning in to. An Oxford educated southerner,a Liverpool educated now living around the world Yorkshire lad,an Essex boy,a Cockney, a geordie whose accent got broader the drunker he got,a Guiseley born and bred and me a Leeds loiner.
Know what it was the most fun I've had in a long time
