I have to say that I find it quite amusing that we keep getting visited by supporters of a supposedly 'bigger' club - a Conference team, to boot (well, for one fleeting season, anyway) - who keep on hanging around here to see what a proper supporters Forum is really like...

Hi Guiseley are the only team that Johnathon Gomez has signed for and he did not play for BCFC res he played in a behind closed doors game 1st team and res at Sunderland.I know because I brought him over and only Guiseley have international clearence for him.Yes he is a very talented player in a different league to the player you are getting mixed up. Hope this clears things up.

No not at all - the player announced in the press and the web site was Gomez - but was announced at the game as Fernadez - which is it? - who ever it was is certainly not bad - i would play him off James Hanson - Left or Right and put Wilford at center back! r |

Aron Wilford was poor yesterday but surely it's dangerous to write any player off on the evidence of half a game - on that basis, half the team would never be picked again.
Good managers have selected him up front in the past with considerable success, and when he came on at Lincoln he turned the game for us.
In the absence of a natural foil for James - and even if the coffers are empty surely Tom Greaves will get a run soon - Aron provides a viable option, as well as providing useful cover for the defence.
The last thing we need at the moment is yet another scapegoat.
