Just to let you all know that yours truly and OB will be on a personal mission to Leek on Tuesday night to seek out and assess the local grub...
A full report will appear here on by Wednesday night and, apparently there's a match on, too, so there'll also be a mention or two of that...

If you get to Leek early, make your way into town and find Hortons Pie Shop... Top quality!

Talking of pies our exile from the NE was home to get drenched on saturday but had been dreaming of pies with mushy peas mostly and mint sauce. Checked before game lots of peas, come half time NO PIES plenty of peas. Excuse when asked "at least we won have any left to waste" when at least another twenty portions left in queue. Logic !!!

A continuation of that. I know we're Pucka but we have got a local butcher who makes liscous pies could not a car have been sent when it was obvious we were going to run out ? Just a thought.
