OK then playmates, here's a simple question seeing as we've no live First team game to be talking about tonight...
What's the best match you've seen at Fort Nethermoor this season?
For me it's the 3-1 tonking of Marine when Rob Pell got that excellent goal.
What does everyone else think?

For any impartial spectators the cup game against Eastwood. Unfortunately for us we lost 4 - 3 after extra time but I thought it was a great entertaining game, with lots of banter from the crowd mainly due to lots of falling down by Eastwood.

hope that was nt directed at me OB ... Course not, WL; you're a genuine, loyal and long-haul GFC fan and as such entitled to have your opinions valued. Lately, however, we seem to be attracting a lot of members whose agenda seems to be either to destabilize the club or to push the claims of certain players by undermining others. Decisions have been made that I with my limited insight into club matters don't agree with, but we employ a Manager to do what he believes is right. It's surely in the interests of every true fan that each player who pulls on the shirt can do so in the knowledge that the crowd is behind him and willing him to do well. I made a cheap-laugh remark, but in reality there should be nothing like outside criticism to galvanize a club's true supporters. Keep posting, guys!

Sorry, what was the question again? Ah yes, best match of the season.
Has to be Guiseley 1 Worcester City 0. But if I'd known then what I got to know later I'd have enjoyed Guiseley 1 Eastwood Town 0 more. And more loudly.

I haven't been to all the home games but I've seen a few of the one's that are mentioned here. My conclusion from the suggestions is that there hasn't actually been a match of the season yet. Sorry if that sounds negative but no one game jumps to mind. The late come back against Marine was exciting but up until we got the late goals there were a lot of people in the crowd grumbling. I think the good thing about it was the dramatic turn around in the game and the corresponding change in my feelings from feeling a bit disgruntled to being thrilled by the win. It hasn't been so much the games this season that have stuck in my mind, but more individual performances. The best being Krief on several performances but also Bett and Dicho. I'm sorry I'm not deliberately choosing those that have left. It's just the way I have seen the season so far.

And last season we had so many equally memorable performances from Craig Hall who, incidentally,I still think we could get back here if we really had a go...
