CDP, was that team list in order mate, and do you have the subs please for Guiseley?
Thanks, and well done on your win.

Another great away win & 3 more points in the bag. Buxton losing at Matlock was a bonus. Have to wait to see if Ilkeston can do us a favour against Eastwood to night. Roll on Monday & Stamford at home. Another performance like the last 3 & we should be looking at 60 points + Fingers crossed. Rallyman

I thought we had a tremendous win today. The conditions were very difficult with a very strong wind, and frequent horizontal sleet showers - a recipe for a problematic afternoon which could easily have turned out badly. I thought the whole team showed excellent application throughout, we were clearly the better side and deserved to win. Once again, Tuck and Hanson were outstanding. I also thought Fernandez had one of his best games so far, not just because he scored but because of his energy and involvement throughout the game. I would also pick out Richard Dunning who seems to be returning to his best form at jsut the right time, Damian Dunne who worked tirelessly and had a big hand in the second goal, and Noble who was quietly very effective in breaking up the play in midfield. Dave Merris looks like a classy left back and, together with the rest of the back four, defended stoutly when we were under some pressure in the second half.
Overall, a crucial win, particularly so as Buxton slipped up and we are now (finally) in a play off position. We need another win on Monday to keep the momentum going.

Once again CDP an excellent analysis. The back 5 were outstanding, good debut from Mezza, our midfield dominated and James and Tucks caused Whitby no end of problems. Also felt we played some decent stuff at times in gale force winds. Our workrate and endeavour was great to see and that will stand us in good stead over the coming games. We now need to go all out for another win on Monday to carry on the good work over the last 3 games. All the credit must go to the lads who after a sticky spell have bounced back ever so well, well done boys but ther is still lots of hard work ahead of us.To all the fans who made the long journey and braved the atrocious conditions many thanks it really is much appreciated.

Can't complain about the conditions. Anyone who grew up in the 70s or 80s knows what to expect from a Bank Holiday at the great British seaside, and that's what we got. Several stern words from the old man and kids in tears were all that was missing.
Thought the front 2 did well (Tuck looked dangeroes, Hanson worked out how to do flick ons to himself in the wind), but wondered why there weren't more efforts from distance in the second half given the gusting, swirling wind accompanied by occasional hail, and that I didn't think their keeper was up to much.

Thought the lads did well today and earnt every penny in some of the worst conditions this season (cant remember being as cold for ages). Back 5 top drawer - Dave Merris fitted in and balanced the line - caught Bruskill out off side a lot which blunted them throughout the game, only allowing a couple of real chances. We looked to have coped better overall so got the feeling if it had been a nice day we would have put a lot past them?
Looking forward to Monday - lets hope the predicted snow goes away and we can maintain the momentum until the end of the season now. Are we likely to be able to hang on to Tuck? he has been a really tricky forward as again today and could be the key to completing the season off and a great foil for Hanson and Fernandez

Just goes to show this league can throw up some crazy results when you least expect it.Fully expected Buxton and Eastwood to win today but glad to be wrong,a warning to our boys that you cant take any game for granted.
