Adam made an interesting move in a recent game of Scrabble at the Bridson household. The word 'loll' was used as one of his moves. Naturally, despite notching an impressive 218 in this triple threat encounter, he was thrashed partly due to a cracking 156 from yours truly as I clocked up an astonishing 348. Just wondered what you guys thought about Adam's language being moved from the forum to the Scrabble board?

Loll, to move or recline in a relaxed manner, differs from, Lol, to laugh out loud. That extra "L" saved your son's bacon as his more usual Lol is not in the English dictionary (as oppose to the Briddish one). P.S. Mr Bridson whilst you are on. Is there any chance that you could play scrabble more regularly with Adam? It would improve his spelling when he does come on to the forum and might distract him from posting so regularly. Also does he have the last word in every conversation at home as well? Well done for beating Adam at scrabble that must have been....er....difficult.

In response to theprisoner: I'm Adam's bro, not his father. I wholesomely encourage Adam to play Scrabble as he knows he will always get beat by greatness such as me. He always tries to have the last word in conversations at home. He never wins like but always gets the last word.

I've long suspected that Adam might have dyslexia. He could get help through the SND (National Dyslexia Society).

UPDATE - Adam once again used Loll in another triple threat Scrabble encounter last night. Although it was another losing effort for the youngster, he showed impressive form throughout the contest. In a one on one battle against his brother, Adam was defeated by just 29 points following a massive 45 score from the older Bridson clan member. When approached, all Adam said was: "Lol, yeah"
