Not quite sure what happened to my predictions for T'Ossett game.: the post doesn't seem to have registered. Then again, with "0-0, 1-1, 190" I probably wasn't going to score much anyway.
Perhaps we could have a default set of orders of: "0-0, 0-0, 200, N" for when anyone misses?
'Tis but a thought.

Mog - and all other members,
I'm perfectly happy with that arrangement , in fact I think it's a good idea. It makes it like a 'standing order' so that all members get a weekly go, even if they forget to post.
Assuming we get a couple more members in agreement with this I'm happy to proceed with that.
What does everyone else think?

On that basis Hanson's dad might never make another prediction and what with all the free points ydr keeps giving him he could win the league. Did I ever mention that something similar happened when Hyde Utd 'won' the UPL in 2005.......?
Instead mog could just hit the 'Post Reply' button.

Mr Prisoner,
Your comments are duly noted, so I think I'll put it to straight vote from all the other nine league members, and I'll message all the others to ask them and make sure the voting ends at midnight on Friday.
I also thought we might attempt a new, sort of 'Intertoto Cup' type think where members guess the result of the poll, the voting at 'half time' - ie Thursday morning, the 'attendance' - ie the total number of votes cast (don't think we can score it 5 either way though) and you're allowed a Joker.
I'll abstain from the vote so as I don't favour either of the two points of view.
Finally, and in closing, can I just offer my own two pen'orth on what fine champions Hyde United proved to be in the year that you mention, and that you are to be commended on your grace in according such fulsome praise to a championship rival.
best regards, Mr Yeadoner

Dear Prediction League members,As you will have seen, there has been some debate about whether or not we should allow members to register a 'default' entry in case they ever forget to place their prediction online and so, in order to decide whether we adopt this system or not, it would be useful if we could have have a simple vote to sort this matter out. Please reply, therefore, by taking part in this simple procedure. Thank you, Ydnr
