Guiseley Reserves romped to a 7-1 win over visiting Hyde United on Saturday with young midfielder John Douglas producing a superb hat-trick. With Bailey Camfield and Bricie Tiani surplus to first team squad requirements Callum White (right-back) and Liam Robinson (striker) had to step down to the bench to accomodate them. Rob Bradley opened the scoring for Guiseley who led by just the one goal at half-time. Brice Tiani made it 2-0 and then manager Vince Brockie made three substitutions in the 65th minute Liam Robinson on for Rob Bradley, Fernando Moke for Joe Hendrie and Callum White for Adam Hill. Whilst these guys were getting showered Guiseley rammed in four goals through Liam Robinson, John Douglas (2) and Luke Hudson (filling in again at centre-back but managing to get forward for another great strike). The showered trio were out in time to catch JD notching his hat-trick with another fine strike. Another comprehensive league display from the high riding Reserves who will face Guiseley Red Lion in the next round of the Wharfedale FA Cup. Team: Steve Thompson; Bailey Camfield, Tom Higman (C), Luke Hudson, John Cullen; Adam Hill (Callum White 65), Joe Hendrie (Fernando Moke 65), John Douglas, Chris Davey; Rob Bradley (Liam Robinson 65), Brice Tiani. Subs not used: Sam Jacomb, Ben Reynolds.
