Guiseley Reserves have been drawn away to Baildon Trinity Athletic in the semi-finals of the Wharfedale FA Challenge Cup on Saturday, December 20th, kick-off 1.30pm with extra-time and penalties if necessary. The West Yorkshire League side play at The Dell, Cliffe Lane West Recreation Ground, Baildon. The other semi-final is between Pool AFC and Ilkley Town. Whoever wins has a long wait to the final - it is not usually played until Easter time or May Bank Holiday. Seems we will have to watch out for a certain Danny The Reserves next game is on Saturday, December 6th, at home to Ossett Albion kick-off 3pm. This is a change from the original fixture which was at home to Farsley Celtic. The Reserves then travel to Woodley Sports on Saturday, December 13th.

Seems we will have to watch out for a certain Danny. Anybody remember the days when there were only two Danny Forrests?

Yes and I knew both of them! What a claim to fame! It would have been interesting for Guiseley to have signed the other Danny Forrest (Burley-in-Wharfedale's) when he left Halifax. He sometimes used to come and stand on the terraces at Nethermoor with his Dad John when Danny was a Bradford City player.
