9 mins 1-0 to Guiseley, James Hanson converting the penalty after he was brought down in the area by the Hednesford keeper.

At least Buxton equalised against Eastwood. We're still two points above Eastoowd with four games left - but their run-in looks easier than ours... Going to go right down to the wire again.

Final score 1-1. We were dire today - particularly in the second half.

We'll need to get better results than this draw today - we weren't in the races in the second half - hopefully the facts we seem to do better against teams up and around us as well as away from home will see us through.

Give Bruno Holden a run up front and hand the number 4 shirt back to Damian Dunne then perhaps we can have someone partner James Hanson and restore some guile in midfield. Today was just dismal.

Why play the best centre back in the league (Danny Ellis) at full back and Nathan Hay on the bench? plane daft that one. Just as daft is to play Jonny Fernandez on the left. And why take Aron Wilford off just to invite more pressure on the defence by putting Hay in to midfield? Just bring back Tuck!
Is that now eight games at home without a win? not exactly the right form is it! Thank god we have only one home game left!

Wilford was unlikely to last/be effective for 90mins, yet no options on the bench to change things. What if Hanson had got injured? Maybe Danny or Nathan would be pushed up front! Also strange that Noble plays left back one week then right midfield the next. Is it time to consider bringing Knight back to aid the final push? Also think that Dicko would provide more confidence and better distribution to those in front of him. With the revolving door approach of the last few weeks it might also give the team a more experienced and Guiseley based spine. Not sure what the loan rules are at this point of the season, but the current approach seems rather random. Would love to make the play offs, but deep down dont feel we actually deserve it.

If we are fortunate to make the play offs I am so glad we would be away for both fixtures!
How many times have I said we need Steve and Gav back in the side??

Dicko has now won MOM for Hucknall for the last 4 games. Last week he saved two penalties and what have we got a keeper who quite clearly cannot kick out and thats for everyone to see. If we had Dicko the backs wouldnt be working their socks off and could concentrate on getting the ball forward. Having said that Hucknalls gain is our lose Dickos in a higher league and succeeding Good luck to him.
Other clubs must be laughing at us we have one of the best keepers and best strikers in the league out on loan.
