Face it skiba is rubbish compared to Dicko we were lucky to hang on with all of his pathetic kicking we deserved to loose that match in the second half AB

Got to agree with Noah...What ever did go~ on with Steve and Gavin??? Its time to forgive n forget. We have no cover up front at all .Any injuries will cost us dearly....In our final push.OH!!!! can we also play our strongest back four Nathan ,Simon ,Danny ,Dave....Cotty,s good but Simon n Danny are one of the best centre back pairing in the league.....So cum on boyz we can still do it........Guiseley,Guiseley,Guiseley !!!!!!!!

At home our form is not even West Yorkshire League 1 standard - I would back Otley Town to give us a run for our money ( Blue Square North - do me a favour !! ). Overall though I think the whole standard at our level has dropped - only 2/3 teams worthy of Unibond Premier status which is about the level we were 7/8 years ago ( remember Blue Square North was formed to take its place in effect so we are really playing at a lower level anyway ).
Too many loan players in my opinion - the team yesterday did not seem bothered about whether they got relegated or promoted - urgency was zilch even from the bench.

The whole day seemed rather flat. Was surprised by the disappointing size of the crowd, which may reflect a lack of belief in the dream/team. Further to my earlier point about the return of loan players, having the backing of a large crowd can also be vital at this time of the season. Have the club been running any initiatives of late to generate (or maintain) the level of support? Still time to do something before the final home game against Kendal, which might require a home win to make the play offs.

Steve's contract runs out at the end of the season, unless new management for next season he will be playing at Osset Town.S.K thinks he 's too slow perhaps he's right but still a very good keeper. Is Mark Smith still coaching, because what I've been told training gone a little bit flat.If S.K. is honest he will agree he's a good motivator but not very good on the training park.If no planning done you just get left with headless chickens!

For Goodness sake Dicko slow your joking. why not ask Hucknall what they think hes in the process of saving them. We all have to watch a rabbit in the headlights who has not got a clue where the ball is and in all honestly is not up to this league and I dont like saying that because its not the individiuals fault.
Bolsecta I totally agree Ellis and Study are the best they both kicked off the line yesterday to save us. But how is Kittrick going to play his new signings if he doesnt shuffle them about. I mean putting Hay on the bench was a joke.
Clueless we have signed backs when we needed players upfront to cover injury we didnt need backs we needed front and midfield
Have we any players signed for next season and as Dicko he has offers coming from Blue square all over, non from Guiseley I dont think he will go to Ossett hes worth so much more.

Good teams always have a spine - Dicko, Danny/Simon, Dunne/Dunning and Hanson/Knight for me. Nathan/Merris/Fernandez/Noble also worth of a place in my opinion. Expected Lee Crooks to shine yesterday given his pedigree but easy to see why Rochdale let him go.

We have players out on loan that clearly should be wearing WHITE and have the quality. What about the option of sending Kittrick out on loan to gain man management skills, i hear the RED LION are in need of someone.

I have not posted in a while but why the hell all the negatives. Skiba in goal has saved us points on alot of occasions. why not get off there backs and start supporting the team, As for Wilford he works his socks off up there and after his performance at Fleetwood which was fantastic he deserved a starting place on Saturday. Steve and Benno are doing a fantastic job we sit in a play off place and i really do fancy us for promotion. As for Lee Crooks He is a class pro who always finds a man, People were begging for another Stuart Gray kind of player well we have one Lee Crooks. Home games do my head in at the moment and its not just the scorelines we are having. Nearly everyone is so Negative I heard somebody other week insulting Steve and Benno as they walked off the pitch now this is not rite i'm sorry but When we dont get 3 points at home Steve And Benno feel the pain like the rest of us, they dont need insults. Dicko is a legend at Guiseley afc and Gav Knight was a fans favourate but we have moved on Who Knows Dicko might be between the sticks for us next season but whoever pulls on the Guiseley shirt should be supported by all whether its Dicko or Skiba this is not the Steve Dickinson or Gav Knight Club this is Guiseley Football club and whoever steps over the white line including managment should be supported by everyone,

Generally i agree with you DBA. Football is a ruthless game. Steve and Wayne have rung the changes, they and the players have to stand up and be counted. My main gripe was over the set up of the side - all a bit odd?
Any way some wag said after the game we should call a priest and get the ground exorcised as we don't seem to be able to win.
