I never thought I’d say it, but the most sensible contribution on the Hednesford thread has come from bluesquare. Where else but West Yorkshire would relatives be so keen to conduct an autopsy on a patient who’s not only alive but palpably capable of kicking?
For all the wringing of hands, we’ve lost only two of our last sixteen League games, and with four matches to go sit two points clear in the playoff zone with a goal difference as good as an extra one over our main rivals. In recent weeks we’ve shown the spirit to claw back points in the closing minutes against the division’s top two sides. Those of us committed enough to travel - and actually get behind the team - have witnessed them pull off some gutsy performances and excellent results.
If at the end of our season - whenever it is - we miss out, we’ve got the whole of the summer to pick over the whys and wherefores. But for now, especially now, for the sake of the team and the club, surely all those with GFC’s interests at heart need to put the whinges and squabbles aside and shout, cheer and will the lads across the finishing line.
COME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON GUISELEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

completly agree OB. I am sure what helps the team away is the support and it is support through thick and thin good times and bad. it really annoys me that people slate the team they are supposed to support. Home games is worst for this, When Hednesford scored on Saturday i was as gutted as anyone else but i only had a gripe to myself with i am ashamed to a few swear words i think a swear box would have earnt £2 from me and you OB when they scored. but not once did i slate the team out loud.
