Here is a summary of our 2-2 draw at Ossett Albion Reserves:
Paul Wills put us ahead with a chipped shot over the Albion ‘keepers head then Chris Davey is brought down and Adam Edwards converts the spot kick. With us reduced to 10 men after only 15 minutes, we battled really hard.
Adam Edwards broke away with only had the Albion ‘keeper to beat but decided to take a ‘break, have a cup of tea, read a magazine’ when he got inside their penalty area – and an opponent defender caught up with him. Adam - the next time you break away on a 1v1, please put the magazine away and don’t make a cup of tea LOL.
All credit to the players for playing with only 10 men for 75 minutes against a quality Ossett Albion Reserve side that understandably got stronger the longer the game went on – they hit our crossbar and post before grabbing the equaliser in the 92nd minute when our goalkeeper Alex Woodcock spilled the ball at the edge of our penalty area.

Thanks also to Stuart Gray my Assistant for all his help and support and to the many parents from Guiseley who were there – your support is greatly appreciated!!!
BREAKING NEWS: Adam Hill has left with our blessings to join Thackley, Will Boye has returned to Guiseley FC with a promise that he will abide to MY way of doing things as the Manager.
