i suppose your one of the clubs who are throwing pots of cash at the holy grail of promotion. you fleetwood, gateshead, witton, buxton, ilkeson all have a decent budgets. Frickley are reported to be paying big bucks to your cast off mr peel. it doesn't matter how much you pay only one goes up automatically = witton the rest scrap for the play off's. from what i hear you've loads on contract thats cash going out if they play or not thats what kitrick has inherited so until he can shift some of these leaches they'll continue to drain the clubs resources and put in mediocre performances the who goes the manager

Frickley paying big bucks?? ;D
Thanks for Robbie Pell, he's the main reason we've got 2 wins from 2 games over Xmas. He's far better than Smith, Wilford or Knight and I cant underatand why you let him go.

JohnD,have a look at the number of clubs Rob Pell has been at and at the number of good goals he has scored. He starts off great but very quickly becomes an also ran, enjoy whilst you can if someone else offers better money you wont see him for dust.

Frickley paying big bucks?? ;D They out-bid Eastwood Town and he would have been our highest paid player. We'll take Smithy off you though that should free up some cash.

Maybe Pell was just told he didnt have a chance of playing as the new manager already knew him, and he wasnt bothered about the money and just getting paid but wanted to play football!

Agree partly with you MrsA, Pelly hadn't scored for us since that cracker against Marine at the end of Oct, although he'd been on the sub's bench a lot of the time as well. Just thought he'd lost a bit of interest since being on the bench & letting him move on was best for all. He was a useful sub to have on the bench though & that will be missed if we don't get a replacement soon. Someone was saying at the PC game Sat previous that we'd put in seven days notice to Ossett for a couple of players but heard nothing on here about that. Rallyman
