I think a lot you of have mis-read OB's original post. I didn't think he was saying that Richard D is all those things, but that we need to sign someone who IS all those things.

Maybe it's just me , but I think a few of you got hold of the wrong end of the stick - OB's post never mentions Richard by name, just that the title is CAPTAIN (not "OUR CURRENT CAPTAIN") has lead you all to that incorrect assumption, without really reading the post properly. (Maybe it could have been better titled, but that's all)

Richard has done GAFC proud since he joined, just because the guys out of form at moment.

Also he always runs on the pitch and acknowledges the fans

Look at the 3 posts before yours - who mentioned Richard before you did? Certainly not OB, read it again s-l-o-w-l-y and see if you interpret it differently. I refer you to my post above.
