I think we should all show support for Steve and his mangement team. Ok its not been the best of starts for him but i am sure he will get it rite. Remember it was only a Mark Robins goal that saved Sir Alex Fergason his job at Manchester Utd. Although in previous posts i have backed Steve to do a good job it was last night watching the Stoke V Newcastle game that made me realise there are to many stupid sackings throughout the game and it was so nice to see Big Sam get a standing ovation from 3500 Geordies. We need to show that support to Steve now. If honest what good would it do sacking him now. Give the Man a chance of achieving what he wants to achieve and i for one think think Guiseley afc will be playing Conf North football next year,
From one supporter and i hope many more Good luck Steve and Wayne.

O i dont like him i think we should sack him AB Think you should probably shut your trap now. your a nice lad but your really talking c**p now. Your entitled to your own opinion but how can you judge someone this quick on a job that takes time to sort out? He has inherited TD's team, he is making his own changes already and whethere they be for the good or bad time will tell. Why not get behind teh team for a change instead of moaning on about how bad Kitterick is? I have seen nothing but positive noises coming from him so far, how can you see it differently? He is there to do a job, let him get on with it? When you do exams at school you dont walk into the exam and do 10 out of 20 questions and tehn they say no thats not good enough you have failed do they?

Sorry, adiew, thought I'd better explain who Job was, but after your post it didn't make any sense so I deleted it.

It's fair enough to give the man a chance but what worries me is we haven't had a win since October 2006 and as well as the results not being attained, it's more frightening to witness a similar style of football to Terry Dolan's being played. I attended the Frickley game and would argue that the County Cup Final against Goole was probably the only worse match I'd seen Guiseley players compete in. While the Frickley boss was loud and brash, Kitterick appeared silent with his arms folded, much like Dolan. We are slipping down the table having maintained a decent position and clearly something needs to be done to correct this. It could easily be said the manager has been given a big enough chance to shine now and I can't blame people for feeling it's time for him to leave the club. We need someone in charge who ensures we play as a team and stop banging it up front time and again. I disagree that we have seen nothing but positive noises from him thus far, if anything, it's been negative. Yes, get behind the man in charge, but we need to start getting results before we slip even further.

I don't think we'll be playing Conference North football next season either, not unless big changes are made. Sometimes, it's as simple as passing the ball about. I fully understand people who attended the Frickley game being peeved off, I was one of them. We showed no desire and for all accounts, it was a waste of money and we should demand a refund. I expected, with all due respect to Frickley, a comfortable win and we not only failed to achieve that, we failed to show any passion to get it. In order to play Conference football, we need to get results against these teams. If we can't, then changes must be made extremely quickly.

can i just ask y are we all on kittricks back??? As been to a few recent matches myself some of the players in my opinion need to take some of the blame too!!! As for u AB y dont u like kittrick so much, what has he not introduced himself to u? In my eyes a supporter is someone who supports the whole team including all staff and mangement. SK never used your name personally did he AB and u know what the media is like he could have been miss quoted!!!!! But then again i am the type of person to look at a situation or problem and try my best to deal with it as i think SK is doing!!! Unlike some small minded people on here who only want to find the negative of every situation and especially in SK!!!! Come on Kittrick!!!!

With three or four exceptions, who we all see for what they are, the regular posters on this Forum are supporters of Guiseley FC, believe they have the club's welfare at heart, and will still be here when players and management have moved on.
Occasionally, reactions are knee-jerk or uninformed (hardly our fault in most cases), but even though opinions vary on how it can be achieved we all want to see the club do well, and our lives are made that little bit happier when it does.
I believe, and certainly hope, that SK will turn it round, and we'll all cheer success, skill and effort, but faced with a display such as the one at Frickley and taunted by some of the League's most unpleasant fans, human nature dictates that a degree of anger will surface.
Good luck, Steve, but taking criticism good or bad is part of the job, and I'm sure you'll be happy to listen to it if (when?) we gain promotion.

What good would sacking Steve do now AB . Who would you bring in, The only problem i see is not enough competion for places. Mark Bett has really upped his game since Daz Thornton signed and i feel this is needed for a few of the others including i think competion is needed in goal. Richard Dunning to be quite honest just looks tired after 60 mins. He gives his all in that 60 mins so i am not slating him in any way. But you look at the bench to liven things up and there is nothing for the central role. The perfect player for guiseley would be James Mclenn a class act in this league. There have been two teams who for me have outclassed us and that was Gateshead and Fleetwood both who had two class midfielders in Mclenn and Milligan. But i am sure in time Steve will find the rite men for each postiion.

Aren't we all missing the point here ?? Gary Douglas and the rest of the board brought in Kittrick because Dolan was asked to gain automatic ( that means champions !! ) promotion at a time when Witton Albion were already out of site !! I know who has made the biggest mistake !!
