Really entertaining game this afternoon as our Academy side drew 2-2 with Birmingham City.
Zack Dale was outstanding and caused an afternoon of problems for an increasingly overworked defence, but there several other good performances as the Lions strengthened as the game went on, and could easily have won it in the end.
These are really excellent games of football to attend, and Fort North regulars could really do themselves a favour if they could manage to pop in sometime and have a look for themselves. Mansfield Town are up next at Nethermoor, and if it's anywhere near as entertaining as today I'd encourage anyone who could get there to give it a try.
Just another thought; will we be entering the Academy side in the Wharfedale Challenge Cup this season? Would have thought so seeing as the Academy lads are playing in the West Riding Cup this year, but could a club official let us know about this one, please?

Drawing with Birmingham is a real achievement. Championship club with an academy which produced Nathan Redmond if I remember right
