Drench signs for BPA. Good signing for them. Expect confirmation of Dannys Ellis, Forrest and Hall and two other guys called Danny before the season starts. They need to tempt Andy Holdsworth out of retirement too.

I don't know why I didn't notice this until now, but "Andy" is only one letter short of being an anagram of "Danny". Coincidence? I doubt it.

With the way the BPA team is taking shape, there must be an even chance that the footballing gods will draw them against us in either the trophy or FA cup this year?

'Soccer Saturday Super 6 prediction game becomes new shirt sponsor of Salford City FC': super6.skysports.com/landing/salford-city'Salford City joint-manager Anthony Johnson said: "The Super 6 deal shows how far the football club has come in the last two and a half years. "With all due respect to the other sponsors the club has had, they've been on the local level, but this deal shows the direction that the football club is taking.' So it's "on yer bike", loyal local sponsor. At least there's a currently successful RL club on the doorstep crying out for local interest.

The bandwagoners won't care, but you have to feel for the lads who have been going for years and are watching their club's identity destroyed.

Gone after no win in 6. Cox has no win in 5.
Sadly, I wouldn't wish Cox on Halifax.
