Think this is great news for the rest of the NPL. Just hope he’s still manager at the start of the season. I wonder how long he’ll give himself when he starts losing… |

He felt obliged to name himself manager to avoid losing himself to a better club who had approached him on the basis of his record in management which was so bad that he had fired nearly ten managers over it… 😵💫

A bold move from Macclesfield and so late in the ‘close’ season too, I don’t suppose that matters as much in this circumstance as Savage will have been heavily involved in which players have come through the door.
