beginning of this season i remember the club spending loads of money on the pitch and proudly showing off loads of pics on the web site wot happened to the expensive drainage system put in , i think the directors have been ripped of with that one Yes I think they have been ripped off, and if not , they should get them back to sort it out sharpish!!!! What would be wrong to have a cover/tarpaulin for the pitch? Cricket uses them and Wimbledon uses them so cant be too bad for the grass!!! |

Actually, I think we might be overreacting a bit here; out of nine scheduled games involving Unibond clubs this week, the only one that went ahead was at Southport, and as anyone who's ever been there will testify, the water never comes anywhere near the town!

I was at Southport in December for a Richard Felix book signing (also Most Haunted, good friend of this mysterious Derek Acorah chap) and it was bloody freezing!
