The Ladies side will now be called Guiseley AFC Vixens from next season. There will now be a reserve side as well as a first team. The first team will play in the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division One with the reserves playing in FA Women’s Premier League Reserve Section Northern Division. With John having helped out at Leeds City Vixens last year this sounds like a merger to me.
I wonder what this means for the future of ladies football at Nethermoor. The ladies have played a number of games at other locations (St Mary's, Otley Town) over the past couple of seasons due to the pitch not being fit. Will it cope with another side playing on it?

Hi - it's either a merger or a take-over! Looks like Guiseley Ladies have taken Leeds Vixens' spot in the pyramid (was Northern Combination League - Guiseley were in NERWFL Premier).

I notice the LUFC saviour has withdrawn £25k per season financial support for the clubs Ladies team and cut them adrift. Now there's forward thinking for you or is he playing the egotistical Italian?

That's where we used to play too, until the local bobby gave us a clip round the ear.
