Following the departure of Dunne, Pugh, kittrick and receipt of the 7 day approach on goalkeeper Piotr Skiba.
Ossett Town would welcome suggestions for a new name as we understand your new gaffer has made an approach for the name itself.

On a serious note I'm sure a sweepstake could be organised for 28 days from now to guess which Guiseley player is under threat from a player in WF5.

i listen to the comments regulary from our fans. Why not give the new manager a chance. Have none of us thought the new players may be good signings. hopefully the new lads will show alittle more willingness and a will to want to play for guiseley.

Cotterill and Pugh are very good players and have the potential to be very influential at Guiseley. Cotterill is strong and solid and takes no prisoners. Pugh can run games and is very sublime on the ball as well as having great stamina. He certainly has the quality of Krief but will not get as many goals as he did, but I think Krief was in a purple patch regarding goals at Guiseley that he hasn't achieved anywhere else. Ossett have also done well to get them off their wage bill and bring in Denton and Hall to replace them for probably less money. Two reliable players who will probably get better by playing week in week out at Ossett who look to building well for next year.

Who will Cotterill and Pugh replace? Can't see the manager dropping his new signing Dunne for Pugh and which centre half will make way.....Sturdy or Ellis? Could be some more outward bound movement soon!! If nothing else all this makes it very interesting to be a fan!!
